ECO is a renowned engineering consulting firm specializing in water resources, environmental engineering, and infrastructure development. Our core expertise lies in hydrological studies, flood protection design, storm drainage networks, groundwater resource evaluation, and environmental assessment. ECO is a registered firm of GAFI (General Authority For Investment) and according to the law of Ministry of Trade & Industry. ECO company was first established in 2010 as Partnership Company and then changed into an Egyptian Joint Stock Company in 2018 (S.A.E.).

Prof. Ahmed Emam Hassan

Academic Eminence:

In December 1996, Prof. Hassan earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, USA. His groundbreaking research laid the foundation for his trajectory as a thought leader. In February 1991, he secured a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt. His academic journey commenced with Distinction with Honors, graduating fifth among 550 peers, with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cairo University in August 1988. In December 2003, Prof. Emam further enriched his academic repertoire, earning a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, USA.

Educator and Scholar:

Since March 2009, Prof. Emam has held the position of Professor of Hydrogeology at Cairo University, Egypt. His dedication to education extends to teaching diverse graduate and undergraduate courses, contributing significantly to the development of future engineers. In 2020, he ascended to the prestigious position of Head of the Irrigation and Hydraulics Department at Cairo University, further solidifying his influence in academia.

Entrepreneurial Vision:

As the founder of ECO, Prof. Hassan's entrepreneurial foresight has been instrumental in establishing our consultancy as a beacon of excellence in hydrogeology, hydrology, flood risk assessment, storm drainage, environmental sustainability, and water resources management.
